Working of RAM explained using food plate
Abbreviation - Random Access Memory
Seriously, u don't feel like knowing about RAM when u heard about the abbreviation!!!
everyone feels the same.
so i will make this topic simple and easy to understand!!!
Note : I took 1gb ram and 4gb ram as examples for explanation.
the explanation is purely about working of RAM.
let us assume we have 1 food plate.
If we kept everything in one plate, it looks like this...
so it would be difficult to arrange all the fruits in one plate.
let us assume we have 4 plates.
There wont be any difficulty in arranging all the fruits.
In the same way,
1 GB RAM equals 1 plate. we try to open different applications. For example browser, virtual box, eclipse ..etc. it is difficult to load everything in a single plate
the system will be frustrated like the picture below and hangs.
4 GB RAM equals 4 plates. we try to open different applications. For example browser, virtual box, eclipse ..etc. it is easy to load the applications in 4 plates
so the system works fine.
so i believe this explanation would be sufficient to know the working of RAM.
